How it works
Three easy steps
Step 1
Add instructions
Add instructions to your presentation using predefined instruction types and your own briefing. This triggers AI-assisted time estimations for the work required. All estimations are calculated using anonymized data.
Step 2
Set a deadline & get acceptance
Provide your ideal deadline and receive acceptance. The system instantly indicates whether the deadline is feasible. Once accepted, all relevant files and information transfer automatically to us.
Step 3
Review & give feedback
Accept the returned job. Provide feedback, or easily request rework with instant deadline confirmation.
Getting started
Installation process
Install saije via pf.saije.exe. Once complete, open PowerPoint, which will trigger a setup window. Provide your email address here to streamline communication and receive instant confirmations on your requests.
After installation, the new saije toolbar will be present on the PowerPoint ribbon.
Select the saije tab to open the saije overview — your control centre for adding instructions, setting deadlines and reviewing returned work.
Step1
Add instructions
Instructing made easy
With every instruction you add to the file, our specialised AI calculates the total minutes needed to complete the request. This can be seen in the Estimation Overview.
- There are 3 major instruction categories, each with drop-down menus to suit your needs. If no option fits, select “Other”.
- You can select multiple slides at once when choosing an instruction to apply it to all of them, this also works in Slide Sorter view.
- Use “Apply to all slides” (top-left of the saije overview) to apply any instruction, including ones you’ve edited manually, to every slide in the document.
- “Reset all slides” works the same way in reverse, removing all instructions previously added to the document.
- You can also apply instructions to individual objects on a slide: select the object first, then choose an instruction, and it applies to that object instead of the whole slide.
TipWhatever instruction you select, you can edit its text field to add a more in-depth description of what needs to be done, and copy/paste it onto other slides where it’s needed.
Step2
Set your deadline & get acceptance
Planned and confirmed
Using Deadline Selection, you can have us quote your Ideal deadline or, if that isn’t available, the next earliest availability or “ASAP”, based on the document’s AI estimation.
- Checking the Ideal deadline box lets you set a preferred deadline. To change the details, click the calendar icon.
- Once your Ideal deadline is set (or the ASAP box is checked), select “Quote Me”. A pop-up shows whether we have capacity for your Ideal deadline, and if not, it displays our earliest deadline, as if you had pressed ASAP.
- After pressing Quote Me, select PixelFaerie and press OK to proceed.
- Add the relevant information and files needed to complete the request being submitted.
- Click OK to confirm. You’ll see a confirmation on screen and receive an instant email confirmation.
Good to knowThe confirmation displays your Ideal deadline (or our next available deadline), along with the credits available and the credits required for the request.
Step3
Review & give feedback
We appreciate your feedback
When you receive the delivered file from us, you can give feedback based on the instructions you originally applied. Returned instructions are marked in green, signifying they were completed with good quality and understanding.
- By default, returned instructions are marked as “Good”.
- Right-click each instruction to apply one of the 4 feedback types (see the key below).
- When marking a slide for rework, you’ll be prompted to detail your concerns about that slide.
- Once you’ve reviewed and adjusted all instructions, click “Finish Review”.
- You’ll then see an overview of all feedback selected. If there are rework slides, it shows our return time for the rework, plus a comment box for additional notes. Click OK to receive immediate confirmation that the rework has been accepted.
Feedback key — what each colour means:
Excellent — excellent quality from us.
Good (default) — good quality from us.
Good, minor edits — good quality from us, but I made minor edits.
Rework — poor quality from us; needs reworking.
